Strengthening the capacities of the Albanian institutions for disbursement of funds from Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA)

IMG 3181Centre for European Perspective (CEP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Tirana prepared project for Strengthening the capacities of the Albanian Institutions for Disbursement of funds from Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). Training of Albanian representatives was carried out as a study visit at the CEP premises in Jablje castle between 12. and 16. November 2012. Training was attended by 11 public servants – representatives of local authorities (municipalities and associations of local government).

CEP Continues Supporting Kosovo Customs

IMG_9518In last week of September (24 – 28.9.2012) twenty Kosovo custom officers from the headquarters in Pristine as well as from all mail border crossings participated at highly intensive training on risk analysis. This was third training Kosovo Customs and CEP organized together. Main purpose of the training was to find ways to improve risk analysis procedures to, on one hand, shorten customs procedures to facilitate economic activities and, on the other hand, to protect citizens and ensure that all customs regulations are respected.

This year's Bled Strategic Forum on financial crisis, Arab world and Asia

20120511-02In the scope of the project "European Affairs Training for Public Administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina" second module titled "General Course on European Affairs" refined. Understanding of the European Union (EU) and its institutions, law, processes and politics in BiH is very poor. Due to this fact on the request of Direction for European Integration and Council of Ministers of BiH, Centre for European Perspective (CEP) in cooperation with Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in BiH and Delegation of European Union in Sarajevo, prepared a training project on European Affairs for Public Administration in BiH.

On Sunday, 20 May a five day study visit for the representatives of Border Police of the Republic of Serbia ended in Ljubljana. The study visit, titled "Towards Excellence in Police: Creating a Positive Working Environment for High Quality and Professional Work", was organised by the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) in cooperation and with the support by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia and Police of the Republic of Slovenia.
