CEP with 7 new development project in the Western Balkans

MRSS znak manjsiCEP and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia signed a two-year contract in the framework of Slovenia's development cooperation for seven new projects that account for 430.400 EUR. Up until today, CEP successfully conducted over 100 development projects in the Western Balkans region.

Young BiH entrepreneurs presented their start-up ideas

IMG 9084 Easy Resize.jpgOn Wednesday, March 22, CEP organized a workshop for young entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The event was organized in the entrepreneurial center Networks Sarajevo in order to promote our project that enables 20 youngsters to attend PODIM Conference. It is the leading regional start-up conference, where 800 people of various backgrounds convene – big corporations, start-ups, investors and others.

Empowering BiH's Young Entrepreneurs

7 MGpZIJFor the third year in a row, Centre for European Perspective offers its support to the young entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and youngsters with entrepreneurial ideas, who want to develop and launch their projects. In order to do so, we organize a call for applications in cooperation with the leading regional start up conference PODIM, that takes place every May in Maribor, Slovenia.

CEP provides assistance to Montenegro on its way to EU

CEP logo če ni slikeIn the framework of the project “Assistance to Montenegro in negotiations on accession to the EU-2016” CEP provides technical assistance to Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism. Two-day advisory workshop (16 – 17 March 2017) in Podgorica is carried out by Slovenian expert Radovan Tavzes.

EUFOR Althea: o (ne)efikasnosti operacije za upravljanje krizom u Bosni i Hercegovini

EUFOR Althea je vojna operacija, uspostavljena u okviru Zajedničke vanjske i sigurnosne politike (ZVSP – Common Security and Defence Policy) i predstavlja najdužu vojnu operaciju pod ZVSP, te predstavlja integralni pristup Evropske unije (EU) prema Zapadnom Balkanu. Rat u Bosni i Hercegovini (BiH) je ostavio više od sto hiljada žrtava, dok je iz svojih domova prognano više od dva miliona ljudi. Rat je završen nakon više od tri godine posredovanjem međunarodne zajednice pod okriljem NATO-a. NATO je u zemlji ostao još devet godina u obliku dvije uzastopne misije, ovlašten od strane Ujedinjenih nacija, kako bi se osiguralo sprovođenje mirovnog sporazuma, demilitarizacije, razoružanja oružanih snaga i civilnog stanovništva, te povratak raseljenih lica u svoje prijeratne domove.

Doshisha University visiting CEP and MFA

12th SG Meeting of the PA10 of the EUSDR in Berlin on the green side-lines

IMG 20170309 194148Today, on 12th March 12th Steering Group (SG) Meeting of the Priority Area 10 – Institutional Capacity and Cooperation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), hosted by the City of Vienna took place at the representation of Baden- Wurttemberg in Berlin, held on the side-lines of the Donausalon.

Platnica 2 2016Scientific journal European Perspectives containing five articles based on a H2020 research project Improving the Effectiveness of Capabilities in EU Conflict Prevention - IECEU of the Western Balkans missions, EULEX Kosovo and EUFOR Althea. Guest editor of this edition was Dr Rok Zupančič, while guest view was written by former Slovenian Minister of Defence and Professor at University of Ljubljana, Dr Ljubica Jelušič.
