Seminar on Disruptive Military Technologies and Practices – Humanoid Robots in the Armed Forces

This year’s seminar is dedicated to the use of humanoid robots in the armed forces, providing insight into the current state of development of such systems worldwide and exploring their potential roles in the armed forces of the future.

The rapid development of humanoid robots, a specific segment of autonomous systems, undoubtedly brings new challenges to society at large and consequently also to armed forces around the world. At the seminar, guest experts will outline the current state of humanoid robot development, discuss the reasons for their use in armed forces, familiarise participants with the technical challenges of their development, and address ethical issues related to their future use.
