In a world of parallel realities, how can we, as emerging leaders, bring realities closer together to restore space for social action?

Young Bled Strategic Forum 2024 took place under the title Restoring Common Ground. It took place between 30 August and 1 September 2024 in Pokljuka, Slovenia. Upon the conclusion of their programme, the participants participated at the 19th Bled Strategic Forum on 2 and 3 September.

13th Young Bled Strategic Forum hosted 41 young leaders (22 male and 19 female participants) from 30 countries, representing a wide range of backgrounds, including journalism, research, NGOs, diplomacy, activism, politics and more.

The majority of participants were selected from a record-breaking 340 applications, while some were nominated in consultation with our partner organisations.

The programme was designed as participant-driven, with a focus on the participants’ knowledge, experienceand ideas. They were the primary drivers of the discussions, while guest speakers and facilitators were there to provide context and challenge participants to think beyond their current professional and personal perspectives.

Young Bled Strategic Forum is a participant-driven platform where bright young minds from around the world come together to share ideas and find inspiration to improve their communities.

We believe that understanding the how and why behind contemporary social phenomena is an indispensable prerequisite for making the world a better place.

Drawing on this fundamental belief, Young Bled Strategic Forum offers an environment where social problems can be broken down to their most basic building blocks around which tailored solutions can then be designed.
