Transformative Power of Digital

The project addresses the topics of digital transformation, transatlantic digital partnership,  and the development of EU digital policies with a special emphasis on the perspectives of the CEE countries.

Digital transformation is at the core of the EU’s renewed push for competitiveness and economic resilience. As Europe strives to secure its position in a rapidly evolving global digital landscape, the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region holds untapped potential that could significantly contribute to this effort. This project focuses on unlocking that potential, offering insights into how CEE can accelerate digital development to drive prosperity, stability, and security.

In today’s turbulent geopolitical environment, digital policy is increasingly tied to global influence, innovation, and security. As a result, the EU is placing greater emphasis on strengthening its digital competitiveness and technological resilience. Ensuring open collaboration, economic stability, and secure digital ecosystems is crucial for long-term prosperity. In this context, it is essential to focus on the path forward that benefits everyone, rather than short-term reactions that could create more challenges down the line.

By bringing a CEE perspective into these discussions, we highlight how the region can play a more significant role in shaping EU and global digital policies. Through research, expert engagement, and policy recommendations, we seek to provide practical solutions that promote competitiveness, cooperation, and long-term resilience.
