• Jable Castle, 27 May 2025
On Wednesday, 27 May, thirty members of the Slovenian diplomatic corps, who are about to be deployed abroad, took part in a security training for diplomatic personnel.
The security training was intended for all professional diplomats deployed by the Republic of Slovenia to countries with a low security risk and who had no prior knowledge of personal security.
The aim of the training was to ensure that, after successful completion of the training, the participants were able to identify various security threats, understand the basics of security procedures and protocols in the embassies and consulates (DKP), know the basics of dealing with changing security situations in the DKP and en route, identify surveillance activities, apply measures to reduce security risks and apply measures and methods to reduce stress in high-stress situations.
The training would not have been possible without the support of the Ministry of the Interior and the specialised police trainers and lecturers.
