Seminar on Cooperation with Local Communities: A Key to Successful Peacekeeping
On 2 December 2024, a seminar for representatives of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Police and non-governmental organisations will take place at Jable Castle in Mengeš.
The main topic of the seminar is cooperation with local communities, which is crucial for the successful implementation of peacekeeping operations and missions. During the seminar, 6 experts will present best practices, methods and mechanisms for engaging local stakeholders and will stress the importance of involving communities in peace processes.
The objectives of the seminar include supporting community resilience and ownership, and developing skills for effective engagement with local groups. Participants will gain valuable skills that will contribute to greater success on the ground.
