From 9 to 11 February 2026, the Kick-Off Meeting of the project “ENTER: CHANGE – Establishing a network and capacity building for young future leaders in the Western Balkans – Phase 2 (2026–2028)” will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting will bring together the project team of the Centre for European Perspective and representatives of the project partner SPS BiH, including members of the SPS BiH alumni network. The Kick-Off Meeting will focus on the presentation of the SPS BiH programme and curriculum, discussions on alumni networking and future ENTER: CHANGE activities, an overview of possible regional synergies (Montenegro and North Macedonia), as well as the exchange of recommendations and feedback from partners and alumni.
The Kick-Off Meeting marks the official start of Phase 2 of the ENTER: CHANGE project, which aims to strengthen the networks and capacities of young future leaders across the Western Balkans.
The activities within the project Enter: Change are supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia within the Slovenian Aid and Partnerships programme.
24. 10. 2024 | North Macedonia - Nursing and Midwifery, PR, Slovenian Development Assistance

On October 22, an expert visit in the framework of the project “Advancing the Nursing and Midwifery Education and Profession in the Republic of North Macedonia” was successfully completed in Skopje.
Slovenian experts gained valuable insight into the educational system for nurses and midwives and the current regulatory framework for these professions in North Macedonia. At the meeting, representatives from Slovenia also presented Slovenian solutions in this area and provided an overview of the European Union’s requirements regarding the regulation of these professions. Representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) in North Macedonia and members of the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia project secretariat participated in the organization and implementation of the expert visit. The project’s next phase will be the implementation of the first of three planned workshops aimed at technical support and training of key stakeholders from North Macedonia.

The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia through the International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Programme and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of North Macedonia.

This Wednesday, February 22nd, Jable Castle was visited by military attachés accredited to or working in Slovenia. The visit was organised by the Defence Policy Directorate of the Ministry of Defence.
Nina Čepon, CEP Acting Executive Director, and Markko Kallonnen, EUCTI Project Coordinator, both presented the work of POTC, EUCTI and CEP in a productive and insightful visit of military attachés. They mentioned both the activities of CEP as a whole as well as the civilian crisis management sectors, concretely EUCTI and POTC. The presentations concluded with a fruitful Q&A session where questions were answered, and opinions were shared.
At the end of the presentations, Colonel Mitja Miklavec of the Bilateral and Multilateral Affairs Division of the Defence Policy Directorate from the Slovenian MOD gave some concluding remarks, thanked the hosts, and highlighted the refreshing work that POTC is doing, combining the visions of the three ministries. He also shared his thought that »POTC is linking us together for future activities« in the sense that attaché networking benefits all partner countries moving forward.
The visit formally concluded with a networking coffee break.
